The ongoing protest by students at Jantar Mantar in the capital Delhi against the question paper leak in competitive examinations is now taking a wider form. Now Bollywood celebrities have also started coming out openly in support of the students demanding reform in the education system and accountability in the NEET-UG paper leak case. After actor Salman Khan, now famous actress Alia Bhatt has also shared a very emotional and thoughtful message in support of the students.
Alia Bhatt supports student protest in Delhi
After Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt penned a note on social media amid the ongoing student protests. He wrote, “The past few days have broken my heart and then mended it with hope again and again. Behind every student who stands his ground is a dream, a hope for a family, and a journey of countless sacrifices. They represent not only themselves, but all those who have supported them, as well as paving a better path for those who will come after them.”
The actress further added, “Their courage humbles me. Their determination is like a mirror for all of us, asking us if we are really listening to those who will shape and lead the tomorrow of this country. For the students. By the students. The future belongs to them. Jai Hind.”

What did Salman Khan post on student protests?
Late on the night of July 22, Salman Khan wrote a note about the protests on X. An excerpt from his note read: “This issue is between the students and the education system, it should not be hijacked politically, the credit should go only to the students of our country, and I am sure the government will also give them full support and make it a strong education system. It is a win-win situation for both parties. Hoping and praying for a positive decision. May God bless all those who want to get educated. Education should be the next trend and fashion, and it should be made more trendy and fashionable year after year. It should become fashionable, so much so that people from outside come to India to study and India becomes an educational centre.”

Why are students protesting in Delhi?
Students in Delhi are protesting over the alleged question paper leak in competitive exams including NEET UG. They are also demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on this issue. On Wednesday, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that papers have been leaked more than 152 times across the country in the last ten years. He claimed that no concrete action was taken to fix responsibility for these recurring incidents.
Responding to these allegations, Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda said that the alleged cases of paper leak are being investigated. He also assured that the issue of NEET UG paper leak will be discussed in Parliament.
