While flaunting her bump on Instagram, the actress has also written a very funny caption in her post, which is becoming increasingly viral on the internet.

On Tuesday, Samantha shared her first personal picture after pregnancy on her Instagram handle. Her small baby bump is visible in this close-up photo. Along with the picture, Samantha jokingly wrote: “My six-pack. When we meet, we meet.”
This is the first time that the actress has directly shared a picture or her feelings on social media about this beautiful journey of motherhood. Although she was seen flaunting her bump in public events for some time now, this post has won the hearts of fans.
How did Samantha announce her pregnancy?
During the success meet of ‘Ma Inti Bangaram’ in Hyderabad on Wednesday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu put an end to months of pregnancy speculations by confirming that she is expecting her first child. Addressing the audience, the actress said, “Sorry guys, one more short break and then I’ll be back. I know I have to take maternity leave now. But I’m very happy.” Along with this, Samantha confirmed that she will be taking some time off from work as she is preparing to become a mother.
Before Samantha’s announcement, ‘Ma Inti Bangaram’ director Nandini Reddy had also confirmed the news. Speaking to ‘Cinema Express’, the filmmaker said, “The news of her pregnancy has come at a very good time, especially considering the success of our film ‘Ma Inti Bangaram’.”
Samantha married ‘The Family Man’ producer Raj Nidimoru in December 2025.
In a private ceremony on 1 December 2025, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru got married in the presence of their families and close friends. The wedding took place at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, where the couple decided to get married through the traditional ‘Bhoot Shuddhi Vivaah’ ritual.
Based on ancient yoga traditions, the ceremony is believed to create a connection that goes beyond the emotional and physical dimensions of marriage. Usually performed at Linga Bhairavi locations and select spiritual centres, this ritual focuses on purifying the five elements present within the couple. This ritual is believed to bless their union with balance, prosperity and spiritual well-being at the beginning of their married life.
