The clip shows the two taunting each other over an alleged traffic incident; Cumberbatch accused the cyclist of abusing him, while the cyclist accused the actor of violating traffic rules.

According to the report, the argument lasted for about 10 minutes, after which both of them went their separate ways. No case was registered in this matter. An eyewitness said the incident attracted the attention of bystanders, including fans and schoolchildren who recognized the actor.

In the video, Cumberbatch, wearing a gray jacket, stands next to a cyclist whose face is covered with a hat and mask. The cyclist can be heard saying, “You’re delusional, you’re lying. I was right behind you the whole time.” Cumberbatch replies, “Dude, you cussed me out.” The cyclist then accuses them of violating several rules, saying, “You went through a zebra crossing, you went through three red lights.”

The eyewitness quoted in the report said, “It was all very strange. It was such a staged incident of road rage that it seemed as if it was deliberately staged. Benedict, even though he was bursting with anger at the time, still impressed everyone present with his mannerisms. The masked man was obviously some kind of ‘vigilante’—when he saw He was surprised to see Benedict Cumberbatch in front of him, but that only increased his anger further.” The report also said that despite being agitated, Cumberbatch was polite to fans and bystanders. The eyewitness added, “Some schoolchildren asked, ‘Is this Dr. Strange?’ Benedict replied, ‘Not yet, I will in a minute’; He treated the children very lovingly, and the children were astonished to see him.”

Cumberbatch, 49, first gained widespread recognition for playing the role of Sherlock Holmes in the BBC series ‘Sherlock’. The series ran for four seasons from 2010 to 2017 and earned her an Emmy Award. Later, after joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2016, he became recognized globally as ‘Doctor Strange’. He returned as the same character in two ‘Avengers’ films, ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ and ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’. His upcoming projects include ‘Wife and Dog’, ‘Blood on Snow’, ‘Rogue Male’, ‘Morning’ and ‘Last Flight’. Reports also say that he will not be returning as ‘Doctor Strange’ in the upcoming MCU film ‘Avengers: Doomsday’.
