The long-running speculations regarding the release date of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited film ‘Love and War’ have now come to an end. The official release date of this film starring veteran actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal has been announced. This film will now be released on the big screen on January 21, 2027.
Release date changed several times
‘Love and War’ has had to wait a long time to reach the audience. The release of this film has been postponed at least three times so far. It was initially planned to be released on Christmas 2025, which was later pushed to March 2026 and then August 2026. But now the makers have made it clear that this film will be released in front of the audience only in the beginning of 2027.

Special pictures of Ranbir and Vicky from the set went viral
For some time now, many pictures from the sets of this film have been going viral on social media, which has increased the curiosity of the fans. Recently a picture was revealed in which Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal were seen in Air Force uniform. The refined style of these two actors standing near a fighter jet, wearing aviator sunglasses and the discipline of their uniforms has become a topic of discussion on social media. Both these actors will be seen in the role of officers in the film.

What is the story of the film?
This film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is based on a complex love triangle. The story of the film revolves around two officers (Ranbir and Vicky) and Alia Bhatt. In this, Alia’s character will be seen facing an emotional conflict between her duty and personal feelings. This is Ranbir Kapoor’s second project with Bhansali, before which he had worked with him in his first film ‘Saawariya’.
