According to Koi Moi, ‘Sairat’ is the highest grossing Marathi film. The film had earned 90 crores. Whereas ‘Raja Shivaji’ has collected Rs 83.3 crore in 13 days. The film ‘Raja Shivaji’ is only 6.71 crores behind ‘Sairat’.
According to the response ‘Raja Shivaji’ is getting, the film is expected to cross the figure of ‘Sairat’ soon. If the film does this then it will soon become the highest grossing film of Marathi industry.

The film earned Rs 57.7 crore in the first week. The film did a business of Rs 3.5 crore on the eighth day. On the ninth day, the film surprised and collected Rs 6.3 crores. The film earned Rs 7.6 crore on the tenth day. On the 11th day the film collected Rs 2.8 crores and on the 12th day the film collected Rs 2.4 crores. The film collected Rs 2.4 crore on the 13th day.

The film has been directed by Ritesh Deshmukh. Ritesh is in the lead role in this film. He is in the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Genelia plays the role of his wife in the film.
