The film is based on Babri Masjid demolition-Role of RSS

The release of director Abhijeet Mohan Warang’s Hindi film ‘Aakhri Sawal’ in West Bengal has been formally announced. During the press conference, the trailer of the film was also shown to the media and audience. The entire program was in discussion due to the changed political environment of Bengal and the sensitive subject matter of the film. The story of the film is based on the demolition of Babri Masjid, the role of RSS and the political-historical discussion related to it.

If we talk about the star cast of the film, Sanjay Dutt will be seen in an important role in it. However, Sanjay Dutt was not present in the press conference. BJP leader and actor Mithun Chakraborty was present in the program. His son Namashi Chakraborty is playing an important role in the film. Actress Sameera Reddy is also a part of it.

Mithun-Namashi are sharing the screen for the first time

Speaking to IANS, director Abhijeet Mohan Warang said, ‘In the coming time, Mithun Chakraborty and Namashi Chakraborty will be seen together on the big screen for the first time. The script of the new film is ready and Mithun da’s dates were awaited after the elections. When the trailer was shown, the audience and supporters gave a positive response, which we are excited about.

‘Aakhri Sawal’ will be released in Bengal

It was raised prominently in the press conference that the trailer launch of the film ‘Aakhri Sawal’ was stopped during the previous government. It was told from the stage that earlier films like ‘Bengal Files’ were not allowed to be released in Bengal, but now after the change of government, ‘Aakhri Sawal’ is going to be released in Bengal.

Mithan Chakraborty said- ‘Bengal files will also be released’

Mithun Chakraborty said that now not only ‘Aakhri Sawaal’ but ‘Bengal Files’ will also be released in Bengal. He described the film as ‘the truth’ which the country should know. Mithun said, ‘Now the dream of ‘Sonar Bangla’ will come true in Bengal and the state will move on a new path of development.’ Along with this, he also targeted former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and said, ‘For years, Bengal politics was run on the basis of polarization and Muslim vote bank.’ He claimed that BJP has proved that government can be formed in Bengal even without Muslim votes.

Namashi Chakraborty shared his experience

In response to a question related to Mamata Banerjee regarding post-poll violence, Mithun said, ‘The public has given its verdict, now it does not matter if they ask questions.’ At the same time, Namashi Chakraborty shared his character and experiences of the film. Describing Kolkata as the ‘cultural capital of India’, Sameera Reddy expressed respect for the film industry of Bengal.

When will ‘Aakhri Sawal’ be released?

However, if we talk about the release of Sanjay Dutt’s film ‘Aakhri Sawal’, then this film has got the green signal from the censor board. The film has been given UA 16 certificate by CBFC. It will be released in theaters on May 15, 2026. In this, along with Sanjay Dutt, actors like Sameera Reddy, Tridha Chaudhary, Neetu Chandra and Namashi Chakraborty are in important roles.
