Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has expressed deep grief over the incident of collapse of the slab of the bridge of Metro Rail Line-4 under construction in Mulund area of Mumbai. Terming the accident as “heartbreaking”, the actor has appealed to the authorities to hold them accountable and prioritize safety standards in the future. He described the incident as heartbreaking and painful and urged the authorities to take strict action.

hrithik roshan The 52-year-old shared a video on his Instagram story on Sunday, which showed the site of the incident. Along with this he also wrote a long note. The actor wrote, Heartbreaking and painful accident. My condolences to the families of the deceased and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured… I appreciate the prompt action taken by the authorities to ensure accountability. But safety checks and prevention of such accidents are a priority, especially with the ongoing development work on Mumbai’s busiest roads.

He wrote, “The safety of people engaged in construction work and the common man is of utmost importance. I hope strict action will be taken to prevent recurrence of such incidents in future.” A portion of the slab of the under-construction Metro Rail Line-4 bridge fell on passing vehicles in Mumbai’s Mulund area on Saturday, killing one person and injuring three others.
What was the whole accident?
On Saturday, a major accident occurred during the construction of Metro Line-4 (Wadala-Kasarvadwali route) in Mulund area of Mumbai. A part of the slab of the under-construction bridge suddenly fell on the vehicles passing below. Casualties: One person died while three others were seriously injured in this unfortunate incident. The injured are currently being treated in the hospital.
