Dupahiya web series: The second season of the web series ‘Dupahiya’ on the fictional village Dhadakpur village has been announced. The series stars actors Gajraj Rao and Renuka Shahane in the lead roles. After the success of its first season, the web series ‘Dupahiya’ is set to return with its second season. Season 2 of the show is currently being prepared.
The series liked the story of the artists, humor, brilliant acting and small village in the first season.
Regarding the series, Prime Video India Originals chief Nikhil Madhok said in a statement, “We always accepted that good, authentic stories are liked by audiences around the world. The success of ‘two -wheeler’ has been enthusiastic.”
He further explained, “We are very excited to make the next season of this successful story. Salona, Shubh, Sonam, Avinash and Chirag have created a magnificent world of humor and drama and we are feeling honored to see the audience connecting with its fun characters. With the next season we are eager to get out on more thrilling journey through more twist, wonder, comedy and Dhadakpur.” The series stars Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Bhuvan Arora, Sparsh Srivastava, Shivani Raghuvanshi and Yashpal Sharma in the lead roles.
Creator and executive producer Salona Bains Joshi and Shubh Shivdasani said, “The journey to connect with the two -wheeler with prime video was great, the audience also got a lot of love, which made this series special. It has been really satisfactory to see the show so deeply with the audience.” He said, “We are ready for the second season, grateful to the love and praise from the audience and are eager to return to Dhadakpur. In the second season, the comedy is engaged in raising a notch. It will have more fun, more fun.”
Salona Bains Joshi and Shubh Shivdasani have produced the series under the Bombay film Cartel LLP banner, with the first season director Sonam Nair. The story of the series has been prepared by Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg. ‘Dupahiya’ is getting stream on prime video.
