Hollywood stars Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, who have been married since 2006, are reportedly ending their marriage after nearly two decades. The couple have two daughters and have reportedly been living apart over the summer, with Urban on tour and Kidman living with her children. While filming in London, Kidman rented a property in Hampstead. Reports suggest that Kidman has filed for divorce.
 
“Nicole’s sister Antonia has always stood by her side, and the entire Kidman family has come together to support each other,” a source close to the couple tells People. The source added, “She didn’t want this to happen. She was fighting to save her marriage.”

The couple married in June 2006 and have two daughters: Sunday Rose (17), and Faith Margaret (14). Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise.Rumors of their separation sparked a few months ago when TMZ reported that they were living apart.
On June 25, Nicole Kidman shared a love-filled post to wish her husband Keith Urban a happy anniversary.In the picture, Nicole is seen leaning on Keith’s shoulder. The caption read, “Happy Anniversary Baby.”
After Keith won the award, Nicole shared a hilarious reel, writing, “Had so much fun with my Triple Crown winner! Thank you @acmawards!”
Rumors of sourness in their marriage were spreading online. But, Nicole did not say anything about this publicly. In fact, he has always talked about how his family supports him in all difficult times.

A clause in their pre-nuptial agreement has drawn attention. According to RadarOnline.com, under the agreement, which was signed before their marriage, Urban would receive $600,000 for every year of their marriage if he stayed away from drugs. As a result, Urban could get more than US$11 million after the divorce. The clause reportedly relates to Urban’s past struggles with substance abuse and was included to encourage abstinence.
They have reportedly been living apart for months, and Urban has moved out of their Nashville home. Their last major public appearance was at the AFI Tribute, where Urban praised Kidman. These developments and the divorce filing have drawn attention to their personal circumstances and the financial implications of their settlement.
Keith Urban has spoken openly about his struggle with drug and alcohol addiction. In a 2010 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Urban credited Kidman with starting the intervention soon after their marriage, saying, “She finally decided to start this intervention… I thought, ‘Put the handcuffs on, let’s go.’
Urban acknowledged the difficulties in the early days of their marriage, saying, “We were married in 2006, and barely four months into the marriage, addictions that I had done nothing about destroyed our marriage.” The provision of prohibition, which was made to improve their health, is now the main issue of divorce.
Sources have described Kidman’s reaction to the terms of the deal. A report states that Nicole is “very angry” that Keith is going to get the entire amount, which is reportedly US$11.4 million.
