Sanjay Dutt suddenly left the film
Various reasons were revealed for Sanjay Dutt leaving ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. Initially it was said that he had distanced himself from the film due to health reasons. At the same time, later there were reports that due to creative differences regarding the script and his character, he decided to walk away from the film. Now Ahmed Khan has told the real reason for the first time.

Talking to News 18, Ahmed Khan said, ‘Sanju Baba liked the script very much and he really wanted to be a part of the film. He had many friends in the film, like Jaggu Dada (Jackie Shroff), Akshay Kumar. He was very excited. We also shot some part of the film with him, but he had problems with dates. He had to go to US. He had gone there for his treatment and I could not change the dates of so many actors.
Sanjay Dutt helped the makers
Sanjay Dutt not only walked out of the film, but he also helped the makers. He suggested the names of Sunil Shetty and Jackie Shroff for his role. Talking about this, Ahmed Khan said, ‘He very nicely called Sunil Shetty and asked him to play the character that he had to play and requested Jackie Shroff to play the role that Sunil Shetty was to play initially.
