Trade analyst Taran Adarsh gave the film 3 and a half stars. He wrote, ‘Entertaining. Get ready for a 1980s style masala entertainer. The focus is on fun, laughter and larger than life entertainment. Not on logic. Many of the jokes are great. The post interval part is a bit stretched. The biggest achievement for Ahmed Khan is that he managed such a tough team so well. Akshay Kumar runs the film. Sunil Shetty-Arshad Warsi are also fantastic. Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandes have got limited space and do not have much to do in the film.

Overall the film is funny, entertainer, lots of laughter and action. It is a value for money film.
