Actress Simran is a popular actress of Tamil cinema. Last time he was seen in the film ‘Tourist Family’. This film was praised a lot. The film came in 2025. Simran has also done many films with Thalapathy Vijay. Now the actress has talked about the treatment given to South actors in Bollywood.
‘They don’t give respect in Bollywood’
While talking to Filmfare, Simran said that Bollywood ‘insults’ South actors. She said, ‘Many times I have refused to do Hindi films because I am not able to connect with people. It seems that they have neither seen the work we have done in the South nor seen the legacy that we have brought. I have a problem with this. There is no respect there. I have given more than half of my life to cinema and despite this, if there is no respect then it hurts. it does not make sense.’

He further said, ‘They bargain on their stay. They limit the number of people who can travel with me. They say you can’t bring in that much staff. They bargain on hotels and tickets. These things bother me a lot but no one talks about it. This hurts.

Positive experience in ‘Gabru’
However, Simran said that recently she has worked with Sunny Deol in the film ‘Gabru’ and her experience on the set there was positive. He praised the film producer and called Sunny Deol kind. Simran said that Gulmohar’s team was also welcoming. He also never made Simran feel different.
