He further added, “This ongoing issue must be resolved as soon as possible and those behind it must be identified. If that is not the case, it shows the failure of the system. It reminds us again and again how insensitive people can be, and how far some people can go to harm others without thinking. I extend my condolences to the entire team of the film and my full support unconditionally (sic).” See below:

Pooja Hegde reacts to Jana Nayagan film leak

On Saturday morning, Jana Nayagan actress Pooja Hegde strongly condemned the leak of Thalapathy Vijay’s last film. He described the incident as “heartbreaking” and urged people to watch the film as soon as it is officially released. In her Instagram Stories, the ‘Coolie’ actress wrote, “My dear viewers. A film is the result of countless hours of hard work, creative risks, personal sacrifices and a team that comes to work every day with the hope of giving you the best possible experience. Our film getting leaked online is very sad – not just for me, but for everyone who worked on it. It’s heartbreaking to see it leaked and shared illegally. Difficult – not because it will affect the film’s numbers, but because it takes away the respect that every artiste and technician deserves… and yes, don’t we all deserve to come together and celebrate Vijay sir’s last film on the big screen properly? Let’s wait and see.

He ended his note with the words, “Let’s not encourage piracy. This is how cinema and art will survive. Love, art. Artists. Technicians. – PH #jananayagan.”
