The film ‘Dhurandhar’ directed by Aditya Dhar is once again in the headlines for its OTT release. This film was earlier released on the OTT platform on January 30, but now the makers have released it again. This time it has been named ‘Dhurandhar Raw and Uncut Version’, which was streamed on two big OTT platforms – Jio Hotstar and Netflix on May 22. However, after this re-release, the anger and confusion of fans and viewers is clearly visible on social media. The audience is calling this uncut version a new trick of the makers.

Two different platforms, same timing: fans confused
The biggest puzzle that remains for the audience is why the same film was released on two different OTT platforms (Jio Hotstar and Netflix) on the same day? The amazing thing is that the story, name and runtime of the film is exactly the same on both the platforms. People are unable to understand what deal the makers have made with these two streaming giants.

“Nothing is unseen…”- Social Media Reactions
After watching the film, the audience expressed their anger by sharing screenshots on social media. People say that the audience has been fooled in the name of ‘Raw and Undekha’, because not a single new scene has been added to the film.
Some sharp comments from users
One user wrote: “The biggest dilemma facing the audience is that the runtime of the film is exactly the same. There has not been a change of even a second.”
Another user raised the question: “Same movie, same duration, same name… and two different streaming platforms! I don’t understand what all this mess is between Hotstar and Netflix?”

Another viewer had this to say: “There are no extra scenes in Dhurandhar Part 1 Raw and Andekha, only the abuses in the dialogues have been unmuted (uncensored). The beeps have been removed. No one expected this.” The runtime of the film on both the platforms is 3 hours 25 minutes (205 minutes), which makes it clear that there is nothing new in the film in the name of additional footage.
