The film ‘Cocktail 2’ based on Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s love triangle has hit the theaters today i.e. on June 19. Famous actresses like Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon are seen with him in this film. The film is getting mixed response. Amidst the release of the film, a video of Shahid Kapoor is going viral in which he is seen expressing his displeasure over the ‘A’ certificate given to the film.
‘Cocktail 2’ got ‘A’ certificate
Cocktail 2, starring the trio of Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon, was given an A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC or Censor Board). A means adult certificate. But, according to Shahid, there is nothing in this film that it has been given an A certificate.

Shahid said- ‘I am finding out why…’
A video of Shahid Kapoor is going viral on social media in which he is seen giving his views on this issue. In the video, the actor is saying, ‘There is nothing in this film that you may not like. I know we got an A-certificate, I’m trying to find out why. I didn’t understand. This film is the story of three people. Can watch with everyone. I hope you go out with a big smile thinking about life.

Cocktail 2 became Shahid’s 5th A certificate film.
Let us tell you that Cocktail 2 has become the 5th and second consecutive A certificate film of Shahid Kapoor’s career. Earlier, the Censor Board had also given A certificate to the actor’s films like Kaminey, Udta Punjab, Kabir Singh and O’Romeo.

Let us tell you that Cocktail 2 is the spiritual sequel of Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty’s film ‘Cocktail’ released in 2012. Cocktail 2 has been directed by Homi Adajania. Its producers are Dinesh Vijan, Ankur Garg and Luv Ranjan. Whereas its story has been written together by Imtiaz Ali and Sajid Ali.
