A major case of theft has come to light in the Chennai house of famous Tamil actor Ravi Mohan, popularly known as ‘Jayam Ravi’. The police have arrested the actor’s personal driver for stealing cash and valuables from his house. Police have recovered Rs 2.5 lakh in cash stolen from the accused, but a precious diamond necklace worth Rs 10 lakh is still missing, which is being searched.

Information about theft at Ravi Mohan’s house
According to reports, Ravi Mohan approached the Neelankarai police after cash and valuables went missing from his house in Injambakkam on June 22.
Following the complaint, the police made an entry in the Community Service Register (CSR) and started investigation. As part of the investigation, the staff and drivers of the house were interrogated one by one. During investigation, suspicion fell on the actor’s driver Rajesh. Police claim that during interrogation, Rajesh confessed to taking Rs 2.5 lakh in cash. This money has been recovered and returned to Ravi Mohan.
After this Rajesh was arrested on charges of theft, produced in the court and sent to judicial custody. Meanwhile, the police are searching for the missing diamond necklace, which is said to be worth around Rs 10 lakh.
