The woman who played with me for 10 years… Gaurav Khanna’s statement on Akanksha Chamola created a ruckus

TV actor Gaurav Khanna recently appeared as a guest on the show Lock Up: Sach Ya Saja to support his wife Akanksha Chamola. There they clearly stated that even after separation, both of them are still legally husband and wife. He also clarified that he has not yet filed an application in the court for divorce. However, one thing he said about Akanksha caught everyone’s attention.

When Akanksha participated in the lock up show as a player, she surprised everyone by revealing a big secret. She told that she and Gaurav are going to get divorced, which left her fans shocked. Later she also told in the show that she is bisexual and had been in relationships with women before marriage. When Gaurav appeared on Lock Up Season 2, host Farah Khan gave the couple some alone time to open up about their relationship.

During a conversation among themselves, Gaurav said on this revelation of Akanksha, “This is the biggest news right now. We had talked about divorce in the month of May. But people feel that our divorce has already taken place a year ago. People are saying that you were giving auditions to go to the Bigg Boss show and I was doing all this to get people’s sympathy. Everyone wants to take advantage of this. I was very surprised to hear such things from people. It was as if they were celebrating. Got the chance. But legally you are still my wife.”

 

After this Gaurav was seen holding his wife Akanksha as she started crying. He told Akanksha not to cry, but to act with courage. He asked Akanksha to play well and focus on winning this reality show. Later, when Akanksha asked if there was any hope of her winning, Farah Khan interrupted and said that Akanksha does not need anyone’s advice for the game.

On Farah Khan’s comment, Gaurav jokingly replied, “What do you think, I don’t know this? The woman who played the game with me for 10 years can easily win any show in the world.” Different types of reactions of people are being seen on the internet on this joking statement of Gaurav.

Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola dated each other for some time and then got married in the year 2016. The couple got married on 24 November 2016 in a huge and lavish ceremony that lasted for three days in Gaurav’s hometown Kanpur.
