Belongs to a musical family
Sugandha Mishra was born on 23 May 1988 in Jalandhan, Punjab. He studied from Guru Nanak Dev University and also learned music. Sugandha wanted to become a singer since childhood and started singing at the age of 14.
Sugandha has been associated with music since childhood. Actually, she belongs to the prestigious Indore Gharana related to music. He is the fourth generation of his family to make a career in music. Let us tell you that Sugandha took music lessons from her grandfather Pandit Shankar Lal Mishra.

Kapil Sharma and Sugandha Mishra studied together
Sugandha Mishra participated in the reality show named ‘Saregamapa Singing Superstar’ and was the third runner up. After this, Sugandha was selected in the audition of ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, after which she became a stand-up comedian. She gives the credit of her becoming a comedian to Kapil Sharma, which she also mentioned in an interview given in 2014.
Sugandha had told that she and Kapil Sharma were from the same college and there was only one batch difference between them. Both used to organize youth festivals of the college together. Kapil used to go to theatre, while Sugandha used to take care of singing. During that time, when the audition for ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ was held, Sugandha Mishra was also selected along with Rajbir Kaur and Bharti Singh.
Sugandha Mishra’s early career
Sugandha Mishra started her career as a radio jockey in Big FM. After this he sang many jingles, sang bhajans and sang songs in documentaries. She has also lent her voice in some short films. After this she appeared in comedy shows like ‘Bal Veer’, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and ‘Drama Company’.
Sugandha married Marathi comedian and co-star Sanket Bhosle in the year 2021. In the year 2023, Sugandha gave birth to a daughter and at present Sugandha is living a happily married life.
