Sobhita and Chai married in a private ceremony in Hyderabad last year. The ceremony was held in the presence of close friends and family members at the prestigious Annapurna Studio in Hyderabad. The wedding performed a great performance of Telugu traditions, in which rituals were performed under the guidance of elders.
