There is a very exciting news for the fans of India’s most popular and controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. The show is going to return this year on the grandest and most historic scale ever. For the first time in this new season starting from September 2026, all six regional versions of ‘Bigg Boss’ (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali) will be launched simultaneously. This is going to be the biggest and most unique experiment in the history of the franchise.

Bigg Boss will make a comeback in a big way

The new season will stream on JioHotstar and air on JioStar television network. Familiar faces from the franchise will return as hosts. Salman Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nagarjuna, Kiccha Sudeepa and Mohanlal will host their respective versions. This year he will also be joined by former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, who will host the Bengali version.

According to JioStar, Bigg Boss reached over 500 million viewers across different languages ​​and recorded over 438 billion viewing minutes. Engagement also increased by 47 percent compared to last year. Over 625 brands across 46 categories partnered with the franchise, including 49 advertisers who were associated for the first time.

The report also details how viewers engage with the show beyond regular episodes. On JioHotstar, six out of every 10 viewers watched the 24×7 live feed.
