These days, Bollywood superstar Shahid Kapoor is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘O Romeo’, where Trupti Dimri will be seen in the lead role with him. Meanwhile, when he was asked a question about ‘Farzie 2’ in a promotional event, Shahid excited the fans by revealing the secret behind his new look. Recently, at the launch of the song ‘Paan Ki Dukaan’, Shahid Kapoor talked about his new short hair look. He smiled and said: “I have got this hair cut only for Farzi 2, the shooting is about to start.”

For those who don’t know, the first season of the Amazon Prime Video series was released in 2023, and since then fans have been waiting for Fergie 2. Now it looks like the makers will complete the shooting of the sequel this year, and it is likely to be released in late 2026 or the first two months of 2027.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Shahid will reportedly get a whopping payment of Rs 45 crore for his work in the second season, which is his highest payment till date as an actor. While it is reported that Shahid usually charges Rs 25 crore to Rs 30 crore per film, he negotiates a special payment format for web shows. Also, Raj and DK, who were busy working on their next project Rakt Universe, may have put it on hold due to funding issues, and hence, Farzi 2 could be their ‘troubleshooter’ project.
