During a conversation on Barkha Dutt’s show Mojo Story, Saurav Das said that his friends were surprised as to why Kangana targeted him. “A friend of mine said that maybe Kangana is after me because I look a bit like a young Hrithik Roshan,” he joked. Saurav Das said that he believes in dialogue rather than personal attacks. According to him, it is normal to have differences of opinion, but the debate should be held in a respectful manner. When Saurav Das was asked whether he would go if Kangana invited him for coffee, he said that he had no personal enmity with Kangana or any BJP leader. He believes that the better way to resolve disputes is through dialogue and not by making personal comments on each other.

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut had written on Instagram story that she looked about Saurav Das on Google and came to know that his age is 28 years. Kangana said that by this age she had won two National Awards. Describing herself as an actress, filmmaker, producer and screenwriter, she had called Saurav useless and unemployed and advised him to learn some skill first.
