Rukmini Vasanth, a rising star of Kannada and pan-India cinema, has become a victim of misuse of online technology. Some of her artificial intelligence (AI) generated ‘deepfake’ bikini photos and clips quickly went viral on social media on Friday evening. Taking a strong stance on this, the actress has made it clear that these pictures are completely fake and she is going to take strict legal action against those who made and spread them. The viral content showed a woman entering a swimming pool wearing a green bikini, which at first glance could have been mistaken for a professional photoshoot. This authentic looking video caused confusion on the internet and many users started believing it to be real.
