This film of Salman Khan was earlier scheduled to release in April, but it was postponed due to many reasons. Till now its new release date has not been revealed, due to which there is suspense regarding the film.

According to a report in Mid Day, the film has not even been submitted to CBFC yet, which indicates that there are many problems going on behind the scenes. It was further told in the report that after making the necessary changes, the makers are now trying to understand how to proceed with the release of the film. At present, neither the Minister of Defence, nor the Indian Army, nor the CBFC have seen this film yet, which clearly shows that many processes are still left before its release.

After the release of the first trailer of the film, it faced a lot of criticism. After this, the Government of India at that time had advised the makers to remove all references and mentions related to China and Galwan Valley clash from the film. Since this controversy, the film seems to be in continuous trouble.

The name of the film had to be changed
According to the report, due to this controversy the name of the film also had to be changed. Earlier its title was ‘Mathrubhoomi: Battle of Galwan’, but then it was changed to ‘Mathrubhoomi: War Rest in Peace’. It was also made clear in the report that the makers were definitely advised to remove some scenes, but the film was not completely rewritten nor was it reshot.

According to the report, the team shot some new portions in the Mumbai schedule, in which the family and love stories of the supporting characters are shown. Now the makers have changed the focus of the film towards a human drama, although some war scenes are still kept in it. At present, there has been no official announcement regarding the release date of the film, but it is believed that it may be released in theaters around August.
