Pictures from the wedding function of South Cinema’s power couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna (lovingly ‘Viraash’) are doing the rounds on social media. On Monday, Rashmika shared some very beautiful and fun-filled memories of her Haldi ceremony, seeing which fans are calling it less ‘Haldi’ and more ‘Holi’. Posting pictures on Instagram, Rashmika revealed that her Haldi ceremony had become more than a traditional ritual and a colorful celebration. Rashmika wrote in the caption: “It was more like Haldi + Holi. We were so immersed in the colors that I still have a bit of red in my hair. And yes, I won all the games with the help of ‘Team Bride’! Vijju (Vijay) was also on my team that day.”

Vijay Deverakonda also shared pictures of this ceremony. Recalling that memorable day, she wrote, “25.02.26 Haldi day – the morning after the sangeet ceremony, which went till late night 🙂 It would have been impossible to wake up so early on any other day, but we were all very excited to meet each other, spend time with our families and friends. And we had lots of water, colors, music and fun, which kept us wide awake.”

He added, “I wanted a little ‘rust’ in the turmeric and that’s what they gave me – by lunch time everyone’s clothes were ruined, including the kurta that @anamikakhanna.in had made for me and which I loved. But it was all worth it.”
In their respective posts, the couple also thanked the staff of the hotel where their wedding took place, and also thanked designer Anamika Khanna for designing their outfits.
