Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is enjoying the success of his blockbuster film ‘Dhurandhar 2’ these days. This film, which released on March 19, is still running in theaters and is performing well at the box office. The first part of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ was released on December 5, 2025, which proved to be a superhit at the box office. Now ‘Dhurandhar’ is ready to create a stir in Japan.

Jio Studio has shared the Japanese poster of the film ‘Dhurandhar’ on Instagram. Along with this, the makers also announced the release date. Will ‘Dhurandhar’ be able to break the record of ‘RRR’?
There are many Indian films which have made excellent collections in Japan. Now it remains to be seen whether ‘Dhurandhar’ will be able to set a new record in Japan like India. First let’s talk about Rajamouli’s film ‘RRR’, which is the highest grossing film in Japan and till now no film has been able to break the earning record of ‘RRR’ in Japan. The film had earned 2.42 billion yen i.e. 136 crores. At the same time, even though ‘Dangal’ made huge money in China, the collection of the film was fine in Japan also. The film earned 12.40 million yen i.e. approximately Rs 73.48 lakh.
‘Missing Ladies’ also performed well
Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ was also released in Japan and the film was successful in collecting Rs 1.34 crore. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s film ‘Laapta Ladies’ and Prabhas’s ‘Salaar’ also did well in Japan. Made in a small budget, ‘Lapaja Ladies’ had earned Rs 2.75 crore in Japan, while Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’ had earned more than Rs 95 lakh. Now it has to be seen how much collection ‘Dhunradhar’ makes in Japan.
