Recently, the film’s lead stars Ranbir Kapoor and Yash organized a special event for more than 150 content creators, where they were shown an exclusive glimpse of the film. After this event, there was a flood of pictures and videos on social media. Many creators described it as one of the most special cinematic experiences of their career.
15 minutes special glimpse increased curiosity
According to reports, the people present at the event were shown an exclusive presentation of about 15 minutes. It included some visuals from the film which had not been made public till now. Apart from this, a glimpse of the making, big sets and hard work behind the scenes was also shown. The film has been kept a secret till now, so this preview was no less than a surprise for the fans.

Who is playing which character?
Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram in the film, while Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Mother Sita. Ravi Dubey will be seen in the role of Laxman. Yash is playing the role of Ravana in the film, while Sunny Deol will be seen as Lord Hanuman. There is already a lot of buzz about the star cast and fans are waiting to see these actors in their new avatar.
The film will be released in two parts
‘Ramayana’ is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film is jointly produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, Oscar-winning VFX company DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. This film will be released in two parts. The first part will be released in IMAX theaters worldwide on Diwali 2026, while the second part will hit the audiences in Diwali 2027.
