Earlier in some media reports, it was said that the makers of ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise were so impressed with Rakesh Bedi’s acting in the film that they gave him an extra Rs 1 crore as bonus in addition to his original fee. However, while talking to Mashable India, Rakesh Bedi humorously reacted to these rumors and said that he too should get profit from viral creatives based on his popular dialogues. During the interview, the host jokingly referred to the viral rumors and said, “I have a way to make that random rumor of Rs 1 crore true.” The host further said, “100 brands have made ‘Bachcha Tu Mera’ creatives using my name. If every brand sends Rs 1 lakh, it will be Rs 1 crore.”
Reacting to the joke, Rakesh Bedi laughingly replied, “Everyone is using my name, making memes, making cartoons… I should also benefit from it.” This funny reply of the actor has come a few days after the incident when he had allegedly rejected the claims of a bonus of Rs 1 crore and said that till now no such amount has come in his account.
