Amazon Prime’s popular web series ‘Panchayat’ is very much liked by the audience. Every character of the series has won everyone’s hearts with their acting and emotions. One of them, Pradhan ji alias Raghubir Yadav has also emerged as one of the brilliant artists. Also, his chemistry with Neena Gupta is also fun. However, he struggled a lot to reach here. never considered my life a struggle
In an interview with ABP Live, Raghubir Yadav said, ‘Acting is not easy, but it is a lot of fun. People call it a struggle, but I never considered my life a struggle. I worked hard and enjoyed the journey. Not just acting, every art requires constant practice. Be it a singer, dancer or actor, everyone has to keep learning. Even today I feel that there is a lot left to learn. For me, life has always been like a school, where one gets to learn something new every day.
Apart from this, he shared an incident from his school days related to the board exam and said, ‘I knew that I was going to fail. Due to this fear, I left home with a friend. After leaving home, we reached Lalitpur, where the theater company of Anu Kapoor’s father Madanlal Kapoor was working. My acting journey started from there.
survived on two and a half rupees
Recalling his early days, he said, ‘In the theater company, I was to be paid two and a half rupees a day, but many times I was paid even less. We used to buy flour and tomatoes, then make roti and chutney and eat it. Many times someone would even steal our food and we would have to remain hungry. However, these days taught him a lot. Raghubir learned a lot during his theater days, due to which he has reached here today.

Haven’t been home for 20 years
He also narrated an emotional story that after leaving home, he had written a letter to his father and said that he would never spoil the name of the family. After six months of running away, he came back and a relative taunted him that ‘We thought that now we will be able to see you only on the cinema screen’. On hearing this, Raghbir felt very sad and embarrassed, due to which he left the house again. After this he did not go back home for 20 years.
However, despite these circumstances, Raghuveer said, ‘Even today I believe that failing in science was the biggest blessing of my life. If I had not failed, I might never have become an actor.

His web series Panchayat holds a special place in the hearts of people.
