Ram Charan and Jhanvi Kapoor have played important roles in Buchi Babu Sana’s film ‘Peddi’. This film premiered on 3 June. After its release on June 4, the collection remained good till its opening weekend. Since then it has gone through ups and downs. Despite the controversy regarding the way Jhanvi’s character was portrayed, the film has earned more than Rs 200 crore. Box office collection of ‘Peddi’ in 2 weeks
It has been two weeks since ‘Peddi’ was released in theatres. There were a lot of expectations from this film of Ram Charan. It has performed well so far but has not been able to earn huge profits. It was reduced to single digits in the first week of its release. There was a slight increase in the second weekend but during the weekdays there was a decline in its collection every day.
- Now according to trade website Sacknilk, ‘Peddi’ has earned Rs 2.45 crore (net) in India on the second Wednesday i.e. on the 14th day.
- Due to which its total domestic collection became 226 crores.
- The film had earned Rs 193.55 crore in its first week.

Will ‘Peddi’ flop even after earning Rs 200 crore?
‘Peddi’ has become the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2026, leaving behind films like ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’, ‘The Raja Saab’ and ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’. It is also the highest grossing South Indian film of this year, in fact leaving behind the Tamil film ‘Karuppu’. However, this film, made at a cost of Rs 350 crore, has not been able to recover its budget even after completing two weeks. It will have to earn Rs 124 crore more to recover its costs. But the slow pace of the film will not allow it to get the tag of hit even after earning more than Rs 200 crore. Because now it is not possible to earn more than Rs 120 crore. In such a situation, Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ has also flopped.
