The franchise of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, based on the troubles and extra-marital affairs of husbands in Bollywood, has now taken a new and interesting turn. The teaser of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’ has been officially released on Monday, 20 April 2026. This 1 minute 22 second teaser is full of laughter, confusion and tremendous chaos. The teaser of the film takes us straight to the ‘Pativerse’ (world of husbands), where the memories of Sanjeev Kumar of 1978 and Kartik Aryan of 2019 are refreshed. This time, this legacy is being taken forward by Ayushmann Khurrana, who is seen in a scared and funny character in ‘Prajapati Pandey’.

In this film, Ayushmann plays the funny and nervous character of Prajapati Pandey. His life is thrown into turmoil when he gets caught between not one, not two, but three women—played by Vamika Gabbi, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh. As the confusion increases and it turns into a full-fledged ‘comedy of errors’, actor Vijay Raaz enters as a policeman, adding to the chaos.
The video features a mix of romance, dance numbers, chase sequences and action, hinting towards a ‘comedy of errors’. Apart from Ayushmann’s love stories with Vamika, Sara and Rakul, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’ also features his chemistry with Vijay Raaz. However, it is not yet clear which of these three actresses is playing the role of Ayushmann’s wife.

No information has been given yet in the teaser about the story of the film and its main conflict. ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’ is director Mudassar Aziz’s second film with Rakul; Earlier he had made ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ (2025), starring Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles.
This film was written by Gulshan Kumar, B.R. Studios Productions and T-Series Films, and is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Renu Ravi Chopra and Krishan Kumar. Juno Chopra is the creative producer of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’. This comedy drama is set to release in theaters on May 15, 2026.
