Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court on the controversy over the title of his film ‘Ghushkhor Pandit’ and clarified that the title has been withdrawn. In his affidavit, Neeraj Pandey clarified that the title of the film will no longer be ‘Ghushkhor Pandit’. He also told the court that the film is a completely fictional police drama and has no connection with any religion, caste or community. He said that he had no intention of hurting anyone’s sentiments and assured that the film was made purely for entertainment purposes.

The hearing of this case is to be held today in the Supreme Court. During the last hearing, the court had rapped the filmmaker, saying it knew why such titles were chosen for films. The Supreme Court had also asked the filmmakers to suggest a new title for the film.
