Bollywood’s ‘Mastani’ and global icon Deepika Padukone will not be seen on those famous stairs of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art this year. Sources have confirmed that this decision has been taken due to his current film commitments. The actress has previously attended the Met Gala in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

According to a source close to the matter, Padukone is currently giving priority to her film schedule, as she has two big projects in the pipeline. Recently, Deepika and Ranveer Singh were seen at the airport, after which there were speculations that the couple will be seen together for the first time at the Met Gala. The actress has decided to fulfill her work commitments as she maintains a balance between her professional and personal life. Deepika has recently announced her second pregnancy.
