Netflix’s popular reality show ‘Lock Up 2’ (Lock Up: Truth or Punishment) is constantly in the headlines these days for its heated debates and dramatic moments. Recently, the drama of the show has increased further after the wildcard entry of Apoorva Makhija, popularly known as ‘The Rebel Kid’. The July 22 episode once again saw a fierce war of words between popular television actors Harshad Chopra and Shilpa Shinde, when Shilpa called Harshad and actress Shivangi Joshi as ‘love birds’.
Harshad Chopra responds to Shilpa Shinde on ‘love birds’ comment
The argument started when Harshad Chopra demanded the gym mat on which Shilpa Shinde was sleeping. When he refused to give the mat, the matter escalated. Harshad accused Shilpa of taking advantage of the convenience of sleeping on gym mats instead of the floor and also repeatedly calling him and Shivangi ‘love birds’.
She then added, “We all know who we are. Everyone knows. Has she ever been anyone’s friend?” He further said, “What will people think about us? Ma’am (Shivangi’s mother) trusts me. She knows I am her friend. At least think about our families. She is worried about us. She is going to get married. Don’t spread rumors about her.”

Clarifying his point, Harshad said, “I am her friend. Her mother trusts me. I love her just like I love my sister, my late mother and my father. At least think about her.” In response, Shilpa said, “When Riteish used the word ‘girlfriend’, why didn’t he protest? He should have said that she was like his sister and his mother had asked him to take care of her.”
After this, Apoorva Makhija was seen saying that Harshad is in his ‘Kabir Singh’ mode.
