Telugu superstar Junior NTR has given a public clarification after a fan group linked his name to an upcoming event and started speculations that he might enter politics. In this statement, he separated himself from the organization named RAW NTR and said that the actor or his official team has nothing to do with this organization.
Junior NTR’s team’s statement on discussions about joining politics
On Tuesday, Junior NTR’s office issued a statement clarifying that he is not entering politics. “It has come to our attention that an organization named RAW NTR is carrying out activities which may give the impression that they are associated with Mr NTR,” the statement said.
The actor’s office further clarified, “We wish to categorically state that Mr. NTR and his office have no affiliation, association or involvement with RAW NTR or any of its activities. This organization is neither authorized to represent Mr. NTR nor to negotiate on his behalf in any way.”

The statement also said that any charity work, public-welfare initiative or official communication related to Junior NTR will be announced only by the actor or his authorized team. Additionally, fans and media outlets were also appealed not to rely on unauthorized information.
“This will be the last information we have on this matter. We sincerely hope that this clarification will put an end to all ongoing rumors and speculation,” the statement said. The actor’s office also requested members of the media, social media users and fans not to believe unverified reports related to the matter.
What is RAW NTR’s ‘Ooru Vaada’ event?
The clarification came after RAW NTR announced an initiative named ‘Oru Vada’ and said to hold a press conference at Taj Tirupati on July 18. According to the organization, the event will present their vision and agenda, followed by an interaction with the media.
When speculations about Junior NTR’s announcement of his entry into politics ran high, the group also issued a clarification denying the rumours. It was said-“We have seen several posts linking July 18 with NTR Garu’s political announcement. As per our knowledge, we would like to clarify that these are just rumors and no official announcement has been made in this regard.”

It further added, “Our #OoruVaada event on July 18 was planned well in advance and is solely to bring out the core idea and vision of #OoruVaada. It has nothing to do with the ongoing political speculations.”
Why did the rumors about Junior NTR start gaining momentum?
Junior NTR belongs to one of the most influential political families in Andhra Pradesh. He is the grandson of famous actor and Telugu Desam Party founder Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. His father, the late Nandamuri Harikrishna, and uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna have both been in politics, while his uncle N. Chandrababu Naidu is the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.Although junior NTR has previously campaigned for the TDP, he has never announced plans to enter active politics or contest elections.
On the work front, the actor was last seen in ‘Devra: Part 1’ and ‘War 2’. He is currently shooting for Prashanth Neel’s ‘Dragon’ and is also expected to work with Trivikram Srinivas in a film, reportedly titled ‘God of War’.
