For some time, there were reports that after the lukewarm response to the first part of the film, the makers have abandoned the idea of ​​making Devra 2. Fans were quite disappointed with these news, but now the film’s producer Sridhar Lagadapati has given a big statement regarding the film, which has cleared the dust on many things.

The producer said this on the failure of the film

Amidst the brouhaha over the future of Devra 2, producer Sridhar had an exclusive conversation with Deccan Chronicle. He admitted that now the preferences of the audience are changing. Sridhar said, ‘Fictitious drama films with old backgrounds are slowly losing their luster. Today’s audience wants to see stories that feel real and to which they can relate. He also admitted that the way of telling the story of the film Devra was a bit old, due to which the full benefit of the presence of a big star like Jr. NTR could not be taken.

Special advice for Junior NTR

During the conversation, the producer also expressed his opinion regarding the career of Jr NTR. He believes that the film created a buzz at the box office, but now is the time to do something new. Giving advice, he said, ‘Junior NTR will now have to choose better stories and directors. He should work on such topics which suit his personality and help him increase his fan base in different areas.
