Jenna Ortega, whom the world knows today as ‘Wednesday Addams’, was once about to say goodbye to the world of acting forever. Recently, during a conversation on Kid Cudi’s ‘Big Bro’ podcast, Jenna revealed the difficult phase in her life when she had given up just before she got the Netflix series ‘You’.
He said that after finishing a children’s show, he was not sure about his future in acting. Ortega said that she had to prove herself to new casting directors who were unfamiliar with her work. She thought about taking a break from acting, as she felt it was time to move on, and she was about to start high school.
Ortega discussed this decision with her team for several months and was even ready to leave acting. But, when he got the role in ‘You’, everything changed. He enjoyed working on the set so much that he decided not to leave acting.

Jenna Ortega started her career with small roles in children’s shows, such as Netflix’s ‘Richie Rich’ and Disney’s ‘Stuck in the Middle’. Her role as Ellie Alves in the second season of ‘You’ proved to be a significant milestone in her career; In this show, she played the downstairs neighbor of Joe Goldberg, played by Penn Badgley.
Since then, Ortega has played lead roles in a variety of films, including ‘X’, ‘Scream VI’, ‘Beetlejuice’, ‘Beetlejuice’ and ‘Death of a Unicorn’.
