Is some khichdi brewing between Shehnaaz Gill and cricketer Devdutt Padikkal? Actress’s presence increased heartbeats in IPL matches

Bollywood and TV’s favorite actress Shehnaaz Gill is once again in the headlines, but this time the reason is not because of any of her films or songs, but because of a gossip related to the Indian Premier League (IPL) field. Shehnaaz Gill’s constant and extremely enthusiastic presence in the stands during Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) matches this IPL season has set the internet abuzz. Now speculations and rumors have intensified on social media that Shehnaaz Gill is probably dating star cricketer Devdutt Padikkal. These rumors gained momentum when Shehnaz was asked about her favorite cricketers during a recent match. During the conversation, Shehnaz said smilingly: “I like Virat Kohli very much. I like Devdutt’s game very much.”

Taking the name of Devdutt Padikkal along with Virat Kohli and openly praising his game gave a big hint to the fans. Soon after this, speculations about the names of both started on social media. However, till now neither Shehnaaz Gill nor Devdutt Padikkal has given any official response to these dating rumours. Shehnaaz Gill has left no stone unturned in supporting RCB throughout this season. His social media handles are also pointing in the same direction. Earlier this month, the actress further fueled the speculations by sharing a hilarious reel, captioned, “The heart is in RCB.” This season, he has also been seen cheering the team from the stands in many RCB matches.

 

Recently, Gill shared his pictures wearing RCB jersey after the team’s win, which further increased the discussion about him and Padikkal. On Thursday, he posted a video with the caption, “Having fun.” In this video he can be seen encouraging the Bengaluru team.

Gill started his career in the Punjabi entertainment industry, after which he gained popularity across the country after appearing in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss Season 13’. Later she made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ alongside actors like Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati and Bhumika Chawla.

She was also seen in the film ‘Thank You for Coming’ alongside Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila and Shibani Bedi. The film premiered at the 46th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023.
