The famous OTT platform Netflix has announced its projects for 2026 in its grand event ‘What’s Next on Netflix’ held in Mumbai. The film which made the most headlines in this entire list is Siddharth P. Malhotra’s ‘Ikka’. The most special thing about this legal drama is that the pair of Sunny Deol and Akshay Khanna is returning on screen after 29 years. Earlier, both these veterans were seen together in the 1997 blockbuster film Border.

Ikka’s first look teaser is out now
Sharing the first look teaser of Ikka, Netflix wrote, “Guilty until proven innocent. But will the law find any loopholes? Celebrated defense lawyer, Sikandar Mehra, takes the biggest moral decision. Watch Ikka, coming soon, only on Netflix.”

Ikka: Cast and Story
Apart from Sunny Deol and Akshay Khanna, the film will also star Tillotama Shome, Dia Mirza, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Jyoti Mukherjee in important roles. This Netflix thriller is about a top lawyer who has to defend a man with ties to his traumatic past. The film is full of suspense, emotions and a father’s fight to save his family, even if it puts his own integrity at risk.

On the work front, Sunny Deol was recently seen in the war drama Border 2 alongside Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in the role of Lieutenant Colonel Fateh Singh Kaler. Meanwhile, Akshaye Khanna is in the news for his role as gangster Rehman Dacoit in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar Part 1.
