Durgesh Kumar Panchayat: The grand event of the country’s biggest news event ‘Republic Summit 2026’ is going on. Many big and famous personalities of the country are participating in this program. In this wonderful event, some stars of people’s favorite web series ‘Panchayat’ also participated and added charm to the gathering.
A very funny moment came during the event, when there was a conversation with actor Durgesh Kumar, who played the famous character of ‘Banrakas’ i.e. Bhushan in the series.
If not Banarakas, then what does Durgesh want to become?
During the conversation, a very interesting question was asked to Durgesh Kumar, “If you had not been ‘Banrakas’ in the Panchayat series, what would you have wanted to become?”
To this, Durgesh replied in his usual witty style and said that he would have liked to become ‘Vice-Pradhan’.
Bollywood politics or Phulera?
The conversation did not stop here. When Durgesh was asked which politics he likes more, the politics of big Bollywood films or the politics of his own village ‘Phulera’?
Durgesh took the name “Phulera” without any hesitation. He clearly said that he has no special attachment to the heavy and complex politics of Bollywood. Instead, he prefers the petty squabbles and bitter-sweet politics of Phulera village in the Panchayat series.
During this event of Republic Media, hearing this simple and funny answer of Durgesh Kumar brought a smile on the faces of everyone present there. His answer proves how deeply he is connected to the simplicity of ‘Panchayat’ and ‘Phulera’ in real life too.
