In an interview with ‘Variety India’, Salman said that he had “never read a script” in his life, adding, “I have definitely written them, but never read them.” In the past, he has indicated that he prefers to understand the overall tone, treatment, and commercial appeal of a film rather than reading the script from cover to cover.
In the promo, Salman was also seen responding to the discussion about the expensive watches that he is often seen wearing. Speaking on the matter in Hindi, he said that just because he is seen wearing a watch, it does not mean that it is his; He further said that one watch may belong to a friend and the other to someone else. Over the past few years, he has often grabbed attention for his expensive watches, many of which are reportedly worth more than Rs 1 crore.
Salman Khan’s upcoming projects
Salman will now be seen in ‘Mathrubhoomi’, a film which is rumored to have major changes. As of March, the project was titled ‘Battle of Galwan’ and was said to be inspired by the real clash between Indian and Chinese armies in the Galwan Valley. Since then, the film has taken a different turn; Its name has been changed, all references to China and the Galwan Valley have been removed, and parts of the film are said to be re-shooting.
Produced by Salma Khan under the Salman Khan Films banner and directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Salman will be seen playing the role of an Indian Army colonel alongside Chitrangada Singh in the film ‘Mathrubhoomi’. Currently, no release date of the film has been announced.
Salman has also fixed Eid 2027 for his upcoming film with Nayanthara. The untitled project, currently known as ‘SVC63’, will be directed by Telugu filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally.
