Famous rapper Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, known to the world as ‘Badshah’, is stuck in a whirlpool of legal troubles these days. After the uproar over the lyrics and video of her new Haryanvi song ‘Tateeree’, the Haryana State Women’s Commission has taken a tough stance. Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia has made it clear that merely apologizing will not suffice.
“Insult to the daughters of Haryana cannot be tolerated”
Haryana State Women Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia, while talking to the media, made a scathing attack on Badshah. He said: “What Badshah has done is unforgivable. Insulting the daughters of Haryana like this and using obscene language against them is absolutely not acceptable. We have issued a fresh summons to him to appear on March 13. If he continues to evade, we will not allow him to work.”

Speaking to the media, Bhatia said, ‘Whatever Badshah did Yes, he is unforgivable. Insulting the daughters of Haryana in this manner and using such foul language against them is not acceptable. We have called him on March 13. They will have to appear. If he continues to avoid this, we will not allow him to work.

Badshah removed the song
On Saturday, Badshah apologized for his actions in a video. He said, ‘I myself am from Haryana. People who know me know that my dialect, my food, my lifestyle, my identity is from Haryana. I am Haryanvi. I never intended to say such things about any child or woman of Haryana. I hope that you will consider me as the son of Haryana, your son and forgive me. He also claimed that he has removed the song from every social media platform.
Raids continue for arrests
Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered against Badshah. The process of issuing a lookout circular against him has been initiated. A notice has also been issued, asking the singer-rapper to appear before the police. Teams are continuously conducting raids to arrest him. Police confirmed this in a tweet.
Objections were raised to the song
Earlier, objections were raised regarding some lyrics of Badshah’s song and some pictures shown in the video. The complainants said that the language used in the song was objectionable and insulted the dignity of women. She demanded action from the Women’s Commission.
