Famous Bollywood director David Dhawan is once again ready to make the audience laugh with his new entertaining ride. The much-awaited trailer of his upcoming out-and-out ‘brain-rot’ comedy-drama film ‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ has been officially released on Saturday (23rd May 2026). Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde are seen in lead roles in the film. It is noteworthy that this trailer was earlier scheduled to be released on May 21, but due to some unavoidable reasons it got delayed and finally the makers have presented it to the audience today.In the trailer, Varun is shown trapped between Mrinal and Pooja. This 3 minute 15 second trailer gives a pretty good glimpse of the entire story of the film. The trailer begins with Mrunal (Bani) and Varun standing in the court for their divorce proceedings, Mrunal, who plays Varun’s wife, reveals that Varun wants a child. After this, Pooja Hegde (Preet) enters as Varun’s new girlfriend.

As Varun falls completely in love with Pooja, Mrinal comes back and tells her that she is pregnant, and that the child is Varun’s. At the same time, Pooja also tells Varun that she is also pregnant. This is where the real chaos of the story begins, because on one hand Varun’s character is busy taking care of Mrinal (Bani) and her unborn child, while on the other hand he also has to take care of Pooja Hegde (Preet) and her unborn child.
