Producer Ekta Kapoor is in the news these days for her recently released film ‘Bhoot Bangla’. On Wednesday, he shared his experience of working with the film’s director Priyadarshan on social media.
Ekta Kapoor reacted regarding Priyadarshan
Ekta Kapoor posted some pictures with Priyadarshan on Instagram. Ekta told in her post how two people with different and strong ideologies worked on a great project with mutual respect. Ekta wrote, ‘I was working with a person who was making his 100th film. People thought that if strong-minded people like us came together, there would be conflict, but what they didn’t see was how deep respect there was between us. I don’t think I have enjoyed working with anyone else as much as I did with Priyadarshan.
Priyadarshan had asked this question to Ekta Kapoor
While sharing an interesting incident, Ekta told that even before starting the work, Priyadarshan had asked her a very special question. Priyadarshan asked her, ‘Ekta, are you earning money from this film? I do not work on a film in which the producer does not benefit.

What did Ekta Kapoor say?
Ekta wrote, ‘His thinking and way of working is very special. He always ensures that the producer is safe. Only then was I confident that both the film and the company’s money were in good hands.
Praising his discipline and vision, Ekta thanked him and wrote, ‘It is not that we never had differences, but every time the discussion was held with respect. I believe that in the end it is the director who takes the film forward, and the journey of this film was really wonderful. Thank you Priyadarshan sir, for your thinking, discipline and for giving the biggest hit of my career. I am deeply grateful. Always love and respect.
