Don 3 Controversy: Recently, after leaving Farhan Akhtar’s film ‘Don 3’, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was banned by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). However, now FWICE has changed its decision. On Wednesday, FWICE lifted the ban imposed on Ranveer in a press conference. On this occasion, many officials including CINTAA General Secretary Upasana Singh, IFTDA President Ashok Pandit, All India Film Employees Confederation President and FWICE General Secretary Ashok Dubey were present. Earlier on Tuesday, Ranveer had sent a legal notice to FWICE to protest against the ‘Non-Cooperation Directive’.
Ashok Pandit said – These steps are being taken with full goodwill
During the press conference, Ashok Pandit said, “CINTAA, Imppa and Producers Guild had sent us a written letter requesting us to withdraw the non-cooperation directive issued against Ranveer Singh. Considering the appeal of all these responsible organizations and keeping in mind the interest of the film industry and its members, we have decided to withdraw this non-cooperation directive with immediate effect.’
Ashok Pandit further read an official statement and said, ‘We are taking this step completely in good faith. We have been given confidence and assurance by IMPA that this issue will be discussed at a serious and constructive level with all parties concerned. Our objective is to find a solution as soon as possible which is amicable, fair and beneficial to all parties. Ashok Pandit further said that he has no legal right to ban any artist completely.
