The ongoing controversy regarding Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar’s film Don 3 now seems to be slowly resolved. According to reports, preparations for the shooting were complete, but Ranveer Singh walked out of the film at the last moment. This shocked producer Excel Entertainment and they demanded ₹40 crore damages. Ranveer said that he did not take any fees, hence the question of returning the money does not arise. As the matter escalated, the Producers Guild of India had to intervene and there was talk of taking the case to court. But now according to reports, a settlement has been reached, Ranveer will return ₹10 crore (signing amount) and is ready to give a share to Excel Entertainment in his upcoming film Pralay. The reason behind Ranveer leaving the film is said to be not liking the script or being too selective about the projects. At present, no official statement has come from either side, but the controversy seems to be calming down now.
