The marriage of Monalisa Bhosle and her Muslim boyfriend Farman Khan, who came into limelight from Prayagraj Mahakumbh, now seems to be stuck in legal complications. Sanoj Mishra, director of the film ‘The Diary of Manipur’ has raised serious questions on this marriage. He claims that Monalisa may still be a minor and the documents behind this entire marriage have been falsified.
Demand for age verification
Director Sanoj Mishra has reached Maheshwar in Madhya Pradesh to get to the bottom of this matter, where he is meeting Monalisa’s family. Mishra says that Monalisa was around 16 years old at the time of Mahakumbh. He has demanded that a medical test of Monalisa should be conducted to bring out the truth. According to him, if she is found to be a minor, then strict legal action should be taken against Farman Khan and those who organized this marriage.

Allegation of ‘big conspiracy’ behind marriage
Sanoj Mishra has alleged that this marriage was publicized by creating a story of ‘true love’ as part of a well-planned plan. She claims that Monalisa was going from Kerala to Maheshwar with her father, but was suddenly taken to the police station and got married in a temple in a hurry. The director also raised the question as to how the marriage certificate was issued so soon.

Questions raised on the presence of leaders
The director made another big claim and said that some big leaders and ministers of the ruling party were also present there during this marriage. According to him, a deliberate attempt has been made to present this entire incident as ‘Real Kerala Story’. Mishra believes that this entire matter has been blown out of proportion to stop his film and create a special kind of atmosphere.
