For the last few days, it was being claimed in the media that Dilip Joshi i.e. Jethalal is leaving the show after 18 years. The show’s producer Asit Modi has already declared these reports wrong and now Dilip Joshi himself has come forward and told the truth of these rumours. Dilip Joshi spoke openly about these false news in an interview.
What did Dilip Joshi say on the rumors of leaving the show?
The news often keeps floating on social media that Jethalal i.e. Dilip Joshi is saying goodbye to the show. This time Dilip Joshi broke his silence on this and said, “Social media has as many advantages as it has disadvantages. Nowadays, for some people, social media has become a means of earning money. In order to get more views, people write fabricated stories. The sad thing is that even big media houses publish these news without knowing the truth. They feel that if they do not publish it immediately, they will be left behind.”

Appeal not to publish news without investigation
Dilip Joshi has appealed to the media and people to find out the truth from the production house before publishing any such news. He also targeted social media influencers and said that nothing can be done to them.

How did the makers of the show react when the news came?
Dilip Joshi told that when this rumor of leaving the show spread on social media, he also received a call from producer Asit Modi. But at that time he was busy with his shooting and had no idea about this whole thing. He made it clear that he is not leaving the show.
