Ranveer Singh, who is called the ‘Powerhouse’ of Bollywood, is once again ready to create a stir on the big screen. On Tuesday, the actor sent the internet into a frenzy by sharing the first official poster of the sequel to his much-awaited action-thriller film. The name of the film has been decided as ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, which as per its name indicates that it will be a bloody and intense story of revenge.
The first look poster of the sequel of the film ‘Dhurandhar’ being made under the direction of Aditya Dhar has been released. In this poster, Ranveer Singh’s style looks much darker and more dangerous than the previous film. This film will hit the theaters on March 19. In the newly shared poster, Ranveer Singh is seen in a completely different look from the previous film. Dressed in a black trench coat, with his hair open and against a deep red background, Singh’s look suggests a more intense and dangerous story. The visual hints at higher stakes and a darker tone for the second part.

Along with the poster, Singh wrote, “The time has come to spoil now.” This statement was included in the caption of his social media post, further increasing the excitement for the teaser of the film, which is confirmed to be released on Tuesday, February 3 at 12:12 pm. After the success of the first film, audiences have shown great interest in the sequel. As per available information, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has received an A (Adults Only) certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for its teaser, which is 1 minute and 48 seconds long. Hopefully the teaser will live up to the franchise’s reputation for strong, action-packed storytelling.

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar 2 is going to have a big clash with Yash’s much-awaited Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups at the box office. Adding to the competition, Adivi Shesh and Mrunal Thakur’s Dacoit is also scheduled to release on the same day.
The film team has maintained secrecy about the story, but signs point towards a significant change in Ranveer Singh’s character. The sequel is expected to introduce new enemies and carry forward the themes that made the original film a commercial success. Unlike its first part, this sequel will be released in six languages.
Dhurandhar 2 will release in theaters on March 19.
