The country’s highest honor ‘Padma Award’ is being organized in the capital Delhi on Monday. On this special occasion, veteran Hindi cinema actor Dharmendra will be posthumously honored with Padma Vibhushan. In place of Dharmendra, this big award will be received by his wife and famous actress Hema Malini. The government had announced these awards on May 25 this year, in which Dharmendra’s name was also included.
Hema Malini spoke from her heart
In an interview, Hema Malini told that instead of Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, she herself will receive this honor on behalf of the family. Hema Malini said, “It is a very emotional moment for me. My daughter Ahana is with me. Esha also wanted to come, but due to some reason could not come. The entire family is very happy. Everyone including Sunny and Bobby know about it and it is a big occasion for all of us.”

Sunny and Bobby Deol will not attend
It has become clear from Hema Malini’s statement that Dharmendra’s two sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, are not attending this special event to be held in Delhi. Dharmendra worked in Hindi cinema for almost 6 decades and gave many great films, for which he is getting this honour.

These stars will also get respect
Apart from Dharmendra, many other big personalities of the cinema world will also be honored with Padma Awards in Delhi today. These include the names of famous South and Hindi film actor R Madhavan, veteran actor Mammootty and famous singer Alka Yagnik.
